BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

ELIGIBILITY

Pass in 12th Class or 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

• Admissions through CET
  The admissions are carried out strictly on merit basis through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka. A candidate who has fulfilled the above mentioned eligibility criteria and qualified CET-GGSIPU, can attend the counseling process for admission in the institute.
• Admissions through Management Quota
  The Institute also conducts admission for 10% seats under management quota which is done on the basis of merit of qualifying examination and CET-GGSIPU Rank. A candidate should have a minimum 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed English (core/elective/functional) as a subject and obtained a CET-GGSIPU rank.

Syllabus – Semester Examination

The BBA programme is divided into six semesters. Each semester comprises of 4-6 theory subjects and 1-2 practical subjects.

Each academic session of the course is divided into two semesters (August-December & January-May). In each semester examination and evaluation is carried out according to the scheme laid down by the University. Each paper is of 100 marks.

1. Affiliation

The BBA programme is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. GGSIPU is first university established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under provision of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998. GGSIPU is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act and NAAC ‘A’ grade university.

2. Teaching Pedagogy

The institute applies a balanced blend of classroom curriculum and practical approach. In extension to the traditional classroom teaching, number of other methods like web based learning, case studies, role playing, quizzes, seminars and presentation are used for effective learning.

In addition to the curriculum several certification programmes are designed by the institute to bridge the gap between academia and industry with a vision to develop competencies at par with global requirements.

The entire placement cell works towards providing placement and internship opportunities to the students in organizations like Bajaj Capital, Yes Bank, LG, Bharti, Jaypee Group, Future Group. Apart from arranging placements for the students the placement cell maintains regular interaction with the industry, organizing visits and guest lectures, workshops and seminars to broaden the exposure of students and help in making them understand the balance between theoretical inputs and corporate practices.

Scholarship based on class XIIth score
90% and above in Class 12TH : 50% of the first year fee
85% to 89% in Class 12TH : 25% of the first year fee
80% to 84% in Class 12TH : 15% of the first year fee

NOTE : Relaxation of 5% to girl students on above mentioned percentage criteria.

Sports Scholarship
Zonal Level Player : 5% of fee each year
State Level Player : 10% of fee each year
National Level Player : 15% of fee each year

Defence Scholarship
Children of defence personnel’s are offered scholarship to the extent of 10% of tuition fee each year. The student has to produce I-card of his parent at the time of admission as a proof of service. The scholarship is also offered to wards of Ex-servicemen.

Bank Loan
Students are eligible to avail study loan from any of the Nationalized Banks.
